It's 2009 and we are opening new clinics rapidly at the start of this year.
Midlands and Wales
Clinics in South Wales are now closed. Warwickshire commenced just before Christmas and clinics for North Wales in Colwyn Bay and Bangor are now in progress.
Diane's phone is constantly engaged these days with people making appointments, we're having a lot of trouble getting hold of her ourselves, so don't be too worried if you don't get through at the first attempt.
East Anglia
Norfolk opens in the second week of March as Essex winds up. We're also negotiating with the Suffolk force as to the best location and start date for another clinic in East Anglia. Alison is taking care of all appointments in this part of England so please give her a call.
Our Essex is now closed.
Scotland
We are now about to make a start in Scotland. Two clinics are being provided at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the team there is started in the last week of March. Please call Kirsty and make an appointment. We expect to launch another clinic in Edinburgh sometime in the Summer and we're currently awaiting a decision about the premises.

Jan Berry, Chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales, said:
"The Police Federation has actively campaigned for good quality independent research to ascertain if there are any
health effects on the users of Airwave. That's why it is important that we all play our role and I would encourage
you to find the time to participate in this important research.
It will only produce truly valid results if there is a high level of participation from police officers.
Please help if you can."

The study is fully supported by management and staff associations and unions in both pilot forces, and it has been agreed that all personnel would be given the necessary time to participate.
