Participate in the Airwave Study and you can get a free confidential health screen, courtesy of the Study Team. It has proven very popular, with around three-quarters of police personnel who complete the questionnaire taking advantage of it. Results from health screening are confidential between you and the study team. We will send a copy of your results to your GP if you give us permission, but results will not be made available to your employer.
Screening is under way in the West Midlands and Lancashire Every one attending will get a report listing their results and a 24-page booklet that explains what it all means. (to read the booklet, you need to download a free copy of Adobe Reader if you haven't already done so.)
